Summer – Library Programs Coordinator

Contract Position - July 5th 2021 - August 25th 2021

Position Responsibilities 

In Collaboration with the CEO and/or the Lead Program Coordinator, the summer programs coordinator will be responsible for

  • Planning, coordinating, promoting and delivery of virtual programs for various age groups. 
  • Create displays and promotional material. 
  • Maintain statistical records.
  • other basic library procedures as assigned. 


  • Good organizational and planning skills 
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Comfortable with video production and editing.
  • Good working knowledge of Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.
  • Comfortable being on camera or shooting video
  • Creative, motivated, and outgoing 
  • Self-starting with good leadership skills 
  • Vulnerable sectors check 

Additional Assets 

Bilingual – reading and speaking 
Previous programming experience
Website design and layout experience
Online sales and marketing


·         Must be between the age of 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment

·         Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person whom refugee protection has been conferred

·         Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada

Part-Time (26 hours) per week @$14.25/hr  -  July 5th and ending August 25nd.
